Lesson Plans

The team behind this project aims to make a difference in the field of education. We envision a culture of social and environmentally aware citizens in Southeast Asia, and we believe that this is best achieved if taught at a young age.

 

We have developed the project with the idea that young children can also contribute to making the world a better place. This belief led to creating this project-based learning lessons. The lesson plans are designed to be flexible; across cultures existing in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Using eight (8) weeks of implementation, with seven (7) lessons provided, we intend to impact the young minds to become environmentally conscious, creative, inclusive, and socially responsible.

DESIGN

In order to be applicable to various cultures, the lesson contains only three (3) components: Objective, Procedure and Group-Work. The contents highlight the general framework of each lesson, and any addition can be done depending on the specific teaching style of the implementing teacher. The lessons are student-centered, and rely on projects and outputs to ensure that the student maximize their learning potential. We have also made use of the inquiry-based approach to facilitate the use of creativity, curiosity, and critical-thinking.
